Tabriz Petrochemical Complex is planned to build a new olefin unit in the future in order to enhance its output, said Zangeneh.

The complex is currently supplying 350,000 tons of petrochemicals which will double once several development projects for production of ethylbenzene, styrene monomer, polystyrene and pentane 2 come online with feedstock supplied by the pipeline.

The pipeline is expected to come on-stream by March 2020.
