TEHRAN, Apr. 10 (Shana) — The Research Center of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) is to host the first international conference on enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and improved oil recovery (IOR) methods in oil projects on April 22.
The three-day conference is being held jointly by Iran Inter-Pore Society, the Iranian Association of Polymer and Chemical Engineers and the RIPI.
Besides presentation of scholarly papers during the event, specialized roundtables are arranged on the sidelines of the conference in order for assessing technological opportunities in EOR and IOR projects in Iran’s oil and gas reserves.
The roundtables will be conducted by are National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) , Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC), Pars Oil and Gas, Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC), and Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC).
