TEHRAN, June 07 (Shana) — Operator of South Pars 13 Project (SP.13) says construction of the project’s jacket A is now 65% complete, adding the structure will be ready for installation by August.
Payam Motamed said the structure is being constructed to replace one that was badly damaged by a Norwegian tanker back in April 2015.
Phase 13 is designed to produce 50 MMcm/d (1.77 bcf/d) of gas, 80,000 b/d of gas condensate, and 400 tons/d of sulfur.
